Hechzeba, a wonderful 1995 Perrel daughter. She is a minimally marked Frame Overo mare with outstanding hunter movement, and is registered Cheval De Selle, as well as being approved for breeding with CSHA. Delilah has the calmest and sweetest temperament of all the mares in our barn, and she passes that wonderful temperament onto her foals.
Delilah has been retired from breeding and is going back to being a beloved riding horse.
In 2008 Deliah was Ontario Horse Trails Champion in Junior Training level eventing. This quality mare proves that broodmares must be able to do as well as produce.
Delilah’s Sire Perrel
Perrel 17 hh stallion who is a registered Selle Francis stallion as well as being approved by AWR. Perrel is a stallion with a lot of versatility. He showed successfully in both the hunters and the jumpers (ridden by Patty Heukeroth and Katie Monahan). His kindness, conformation and willingness to please is apparent in his offspring, which include Hats off to Hattie, the winner of the 1998 Reserve Champion of the Midwest IHF three-year-old division. Perrel is also the sire of Swashbuckler, winner of the 1999 inaugural two-year-old under saddle class at the IHF final. We think Delilah is also a wonderful example of the quality of horse produced by this stallion.
